Cassie Holt is a lifetime singer/songwriter from Dallas, Texas with a voice of gold. With influences such as Etta James, Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, and Erykah Badu, her style is definitely unique and infused with soul. Don’t judge a book by its cover 'cause you will definitely miss this jewel. CBS local named her “One of the Top Five Female Vocalists in North Texas”.
Cassie has gigged monthly, at an array of venues and events, for more than half of her life. She has graced most of the legendary venues that the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex has to offer: The Granada, Texas Theater, The Kessler Theater, Fair Park, and many more. Her and The Lost Souls did a month long residency at House of Blues Dallas, even opening for Grammy winning Fantastic Negrito. As a solo act, she completed a residency with Downtown Dallas, Inc., played numerous private parties and events, including the 50th birthday party of the world famous bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman (Coleman Classic), and Revolt TV’s “Local Love Tour". She has sung both “The National Anthem” and “God Bless America” at Texas Ranger games.
Raw conviction and open soul allow her to capture moments and place them all in her music. Her background and struggles propel her drive and resonate within every note she sings. Having a library of multi-genre music under her belt, infused with a gritty soulfulness, she is a force to be reckoned with. She has been blessed to collaborate with Grammy and Billboard winning producers. Working side by side with these heavy hitters, Cassie has been able to create art and give her all to each canvas of music.
With her recent move to Los Angeles, she has teamed up with some local writers and producers to continue building and expanding her body of work. She has already hit the ground running within her new songwriting community, and has no plans to slow down. Miss Holt has a relentless work ethic and knows what she wants.
She hopes to continue to build more relationships just like these, and expand her journey worldwide.
