MEGAN'S MUSIC JOURNEY STARTED WITH THE GOAL OF SHARING HER QUIRKY BRAND OF SONGS WITH THE MUSIC WORLD IN THE HOPES OF EITHER GETTING SOME AIRPLAY ON RADIO OR HAVING HER SONGS USED COMMERCIALLY FOR FILM AND TV.

At only 18 some of these dreams are coming to fruition. Her songs have played on radio stations around the globe. She was hired to record a song for a movie score written by a Grammy award winning producer. And, just recently, she was cast in an upcoming movie singing one of her original songs.

When it comes to music her true passion is in how words are crafted to the melody. She loves to paint a picture in the audience's mind. Making a point, sharing opinions, shaking sense, primping feelings - it's all part of it. The instruments paint the emotions and the lyrics paint the story. Her work is dark, and moody. Inspired from the darker shades of society and a spiralling world.

She grew up with the digital movement witnessing such events as Katrina, 911, the Japan earthquake, terrorism, and Amanda Todd's suicide and cut her craft on the edge of these influences.  She admires the works of artists such as Frank Ocean, Lianne La Havas, Patrick Watson, Radiohead, and St. Vincent.
